Oct 23 | PASSHE chancellor named vice chair of national panel
Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) Chancellor Dr. John C. Cavanaugh has been selected to serve as vice chair of the American Association of State Colleges and Universities’ Committee on Policies and Purposes. The committee serves as AASCU’s “think tank” to help the organization remain on the cutting edge of issues in higher education and society at large that will have an impact on member campuses. AASCU comprises 430 public colleges and universities in the United States, and in Guam, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. more »
Oct 03 | PASSHE universities head into new year bigger & better
Bigger AND better. Those two words sum up the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) as its 14 member universities prepare for the opening of the fall semester Monday. PASSHE universities are expecting an eighth consecutive year of record enrollment, with significant increases in both the number of incoming freshmen and transfer students. At least 10 of the universities—perhaps more—likely will break their own all-time enrollment records.more »
